The usual Enid Blyton Nature Plates are still in stock along with some Gay Way Nursery Posters. They are now joined by these lovely wildlife posters ... all originals from school classrooms.
HI Lesley I am not surprised that you need time off, Totnes was heaving before Xmas! I forgot to tell all on my blog but,the best thing that I bought in the street market were 2 strings of oriental storks made in paper from 2 lads just around the corner from you. I hung them on twigs with shells for our decs. Have a very good rest. Tracey
Talking about Enid Blyton, I am glad to inform you that I have published a book on her, titled, The Famous Five: A Personal Anecdotage (www.bbotw.com, www.amazon.com). Stephen Isabirye
Hi Lesley, Zoe here. It's only taken me 3 months to drop you a line!! Should be coming down to Plymouth in March (snow permitting!!)so hopefully at least one trip to Totnes will be planned! Have a brilliant 2010 and it was so good to meet you...and the shop is FAB!
This lovely painting was used for the shop's Christmas giveaway card in recent years Now, we have moved on and sell at vintage fairs from time to time. Otherwise, retirement as such, is filled with work on our recently purchased house in Brixham for the time being.
The Four Seasons Guest House, Bridgetown Totnes.
A brilliant place to stay in Totnes! It's just across the old bridge and so handy for shopping and evenings out. We stayed there for several nights during our recent house move It is run by such a kind, helpful couple, Laura and Paul. The breakfasts are second to none. Comfortable rooms ....... :)
Great places to stay worldwide!!
Take a look at airbnb. The link will take you to Maddy's entry for Totnes. (remember Maddy who helped me with This'n'That until we closed?) Then, just explore the rest of airbnb to see the worldwide opportunities.
Tangerine Tree, 50, High Street, Totnes
My regular haunt - great coffee, wonderful cakes, good company:)
Absolutely gorgeous...... I love them x
