Nostalgic Mix Vintage Fair Saturday, October 13th
Anyway, Paul and I are all set for Saturday. The fair opens at 10.00am and closes at 4.00pm.
Admission is, as usual, free of charge so please come along, bring your friends and famil, enjoy the shops in Totnes and the market as well as the fair. Lots of our regulars make a real day of it and some are finding B&Bs to have a whole weekend in Totnes. Hopefully, we have booked good weather.
There are lots of regular sellers and a few new ones so the mix will be as nostalgic and rich as ever.
See you there I hope.
Love Lesley XXX

So long ... no blogging! Where has summer gone?

Had a great time at Portscatho. Must find my missing camera chip and blog them soon. Have been really busy with trying to sort out our 'after the shop' chaos at home ... more news therw soon.
Meanwhile it's the run up to NM5....the fifth Totnes Nostalgic Mix Fair. One of two regulars have family stuff so I have a couple of tables available.
If you are interested please email me on lesleyloach@btopenworld.com
If not as buyers I hope that lots of bloggers can come along to enjoy the day.
Admission is free.
We are open from 10.00 am - 4.00pm
Avril will be there with her calorific 'More Tea Vicar' retro teashop.
The picture or the blog header can be copied for your blogs or emails. All help with publicity is very much appreciated especially since we no longer have the shop.
Sellers, don't worry though, we are doing lots of advertising! local newspapers.
I have advertising materials which can be sent out far and wide (flyers, postcards, business card sized ads .....etc.

Nostalgic Mix March 31st 2012. Totnes Civic Hall 10.00am to 4.00pm

Coming soon!! I will be putting this list plus more details of sellers onto a linked blog soon but thought it a good time to whet your appetite for a vintage inspired trip to Totnes!! I still have a couple of tables free (due to changed circumstances) so do get in touch asap if you would like to come along to join these sellers.
Quiet a number of those listed below are taking double spaces so it promises to be a hall full of goodies as usual.
Avril's "More Tea Vicar" tea shop will be creating her very own bit of retro, calorie laden heaven to make our happiness complete! (remember that if no-one sees you eat it there's no calories!!)
We will also be joined by Alice Roberton from" Homes and Antiques" magazine. She has taken a table to promote the magazine and will, in turn be featuring our event. We get a prior mention in the March edition on page ten.

Nostalgic Mix September 24th 2011
I'm starting to sort bookings this week. The sad side of the fair's success is that I now have many more people interested in selling than I have tables to allocate.
At the time of posting this blog I have contacted a number of previous sellers from NM1 &2 to check whether or not they are coming along and then I will check interest with others before allocating what space is left.
The whole event will be managed online. I have tried to do some bookings by taking papers to folk but to be practical I am too short of time to do that properly. So, it's emailed messages back and forth. Then application forms and cheques posted to me after which all communications are by emails.
You will find an email me link in the right column of the blog.
If anyone wants to cut and paste the above picture for their blog that's a great help or, if you would like me to send publicity material by post for you to pass to others I can sort that.
Thanks XX Watch this space for regular (yes, regular, I have reformed) updates. :)

Nostalgic Mix - Guys' Stuff
As heralded this week in Sal's blog (www.salssnippets.blogspot.com) ...... a first for us ..........GUYS' STUFF .........courtesy of my beloved Mr Fixit!! Never let it be said that the fellas get left out. There will be tools, books, toys, maps, gadgets and ....................stuff on Saturday 26th March at the second Totnes Nostalgic Mix Fair.
OK, so I know that a prolonged period of mourning will follow once certain items sell but as we all know, the secret is that once we have sold something, then, oh bliss, oh joy we get to buy more:)

Nostalgic Mix
A very big thank you to all of the stallholders and their helpers and also to our hundreds of visitors!
So sorry that it's taken until today to get some pictures posted but my PC died, the router threw a hissy fit and my elderly laptop refused to recognise a new home hub!!
Oh well, they say that these things come in threes. Thanks to a very nice lady in the call centre (Delhi I think) all is fairly well now and the laptop and hub are on speaking terms whilst the old PC sits in the corner being shunned!! I know that doesn't help but it makes me feel better.
I plan to put all of the pictures (including a lot more of the busy part of the day) onto the Nostalgic Mix blog which I will link to this.
More soon.....
