Hi, I have just come across your lovely blog... I love your little shop in Totnes... living just up the road means I pop in frequently and often find some very nostalgic items that bring memories of childhood flooding back.. thank you xx
I will be popping in to your blog too from now on!!
Hi Lesley, I've just found your blog. Looking forward to seeing more of the lovely things your shop sells. I think I'll be moving Heaven & Earth to get to the next V&HM Fair!
Lovely to visit your shop and blog, hello from St Ives in Cornwall - arrived via Hens Teeth when I saw your comment and that we share the same Christian name. Best wishes. Lesley
you got some lovely stuff at the fair. I wish I had been able to look round more although i would have spent to much! What a shame you will not be able to make it to Portscatho, it would have been nice if you could have had a stand. Could we be cheeky and ask you to put up a poster for us and possibly have a few postcards? Jane xx
A veritable treasure trove... you did find some fine things at the fair.. I especially love those price tickets.. Make note to self.. leave stand for five minutes to go shopping next time!!
Hope to see you at Shepton - halfway down Showering Pavilion, back against the wall, opposite the sweetie man!
The previous morning when we went to see the cattle I got out of the car. The bull came quite close and my cousin said .... if he comes towards the gate GET BACK IN THE VEHICLE ... so I stayed in the truck to take the pic as he was at the gate waiting!!!! Looks friendly enough but knows he's boss!
This lovely painting was used for the shop's Christmas giveaway card in recent years Now, we have moved on and sell at vintage fairs from time to time. Otherwise, retirement as such, is filled with work on our recently purchased house in Brixham for the time being.
The Four Seasons Guest House, Bridgetown Totnes.
A brilliant place to stay in Totnes! It's just across the old bridge and so handy for shopping and evenings out. We stayed there for several nights during our recent house move It is run by such a kind, helpful couple, Laura and Paul. The breakfasts are second to none. Comfortable rooms ....... :)
Great places to stay worldwide!!
Take a look at airbnb. The link will take you to Maddy's entry for Totnes. (remember Maddy who helped me with This'n'That until we closed?) Then, just explore the rest of airbnb to see the worldwide opportunities.
Tangerine Tree, 50, High Street, Totnes
My regular haunt - great coffee, wonderful cakes, good company:)
Lovely, lovely, lovely things. It must have been a wonderful day!
ReplyDeleteYou certainly have oodles of prettiness there!
